SeneGambia

Affiliate Disclosure

Plain-English explanation of how we earn commission from booking links.

SeneGambia is a free resource for travellers and we don't charge businesses to appear on the site. To cover our costs we participate in several affiliate programmes. This page explains how that works so you know exactly what you're looking at.

What an affiliate link is

When you click a Book Now button or an external booking link on a listing page, you may be redirected to one of our partners. If you then make a booking, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the partner.

Affiliate clicks on this site route through /go/{provider}/{listing-slug} so we can measure traffic without dropping third-party trackers in your browser.

Who we work with

  • Booking.com — hotels and other accommodation.
  • Viator and GetYourGuide — tours, activities and day-trips.
  • Skyscanner — flights into Banjul and Dakar.
  • Selected local operators via direct affiliate agreements.

What it doesn't buy

Commission does not influence which businesses we list, which ones we feature, how we rate them, or what we write about them. Editorial decisions are made independently by our team. Where a listing has an affiliate partner, we label it clearly on the page.

If we review a place negatively we still link to it where useful, because our job is to help you choose — not to protect partner revenue.

Advertising

The site may also display contextual advertising (e.g. Google AdSense). Ads are marked and shown alongside content, never disguised as editorial recommendations.

Your choices

You are never obliged to use our booking links. If you'd rather book directly with a business, we include their own website or contact details on every listing where available.
