Bungalow Beach Hotel

The Bungalow Beach Hotel ('BB' to regulars) is one of Kotu's longest-established hotels, built around a sandy compound of palm-shaded bungalows two minutes from the beach. It draws a steady mix of British charter visitors and birdwatchers — the Kotu stream is on the doorstep — and the on-site Aussie's Bar is a fixture of the strip. Two pools, a restaurant and a spa keep most needs in-house.
