Kombo Beach Hotel

Kombo Beach is the biggest of the Kotu strip hotels — a 120-room four-star, popular with UK tour operators and often sold as an all-inclusive. Three pools, a long beachfront garden and a solid evening entertainment programme make it a reliable family and group choice, and the all-inclusive package is genuinely good value in shoulder season. The rooms are a little dated but well maintained, and the sheer scale means there's always something going on — bars, restaurants, a busy pool deck and direct access to Kotu Beach. Its location is handy too: the bird-rich Kotu Stream is close by, and the Senegambia strip's wider choice of restaurants is a short taxi or beach walk away for evenings when you want to escape the resort. For an easy, all-in beach holiday with plenty of facilities on tap, it does exactly what it sets out to do.
